Mystery buttstock

The buttstock pictured was mixed in with a bunch of milsurp items I recently acquired. I don't know what it fits,or if it's even off a milsurp and hope some here can enlighten me. There is a swivel fitting on the underside near the rear and another space for a fitting at the very front end.

The only markings visible are an "N" on the underside near the front.

It's about 10" long.

For the Canadian FN C1A1. N indicates "normal" size. Small & large were also available.
