People here know that the 243 is a useless round (dig) and the 338 is a bit much for deer hunting. Not to many folks here shoot anything bigger than a 30cal.

Good point. I believe however, the original question didn't really even mention hunting, or more specifically big game hunting, just 'The most popular Canadian Calibers'.
True. However I did specifiy hunting calbires only.
In any case, we are all guessing and going with local factors that affect us anyway.

A new thread? I was thinking along similar lines and contacted Seabass to that effect. I did so because I didn't want to steal his thunder and high jack the thread with one very similar while his was still getting active posts.
Go for it, ie: "Your Personal Top 10 Canadian Big Game Hunting Calibers"?? Something along thay line was what I had in mind.
