Deer and Bear on Vancouver Island

Hey guys,
Any area suggestions for deer and bear on Vanouver island, I finally have some time this year to take it seriously and I don't want to get skunked again. Any advice would be great!

If it is a sure thing you are after, Texada Island antlerless season is the way to go.
Not the island but close enough.

On Texada, all you will need is a handfull of grass to bring in the deer and a slingshot to put one down.

bear ..northern island is always good lots near gold river and north there some nice big ones tip of the island (winter harbor) deer are always fun to fun lots of driving and you have to know the area or like the other said Texada for deer is your best bet

Buddy watch around the bike track before hardy, word from my friend in McNeil who rides there is there has been a lot of bears out and about around there.

Also the logging roads heading into the Nimpkish area and bit north of there is INFESTED.

Take a look at going behind Chemainus in Copper Canyon way and some logging roads behind Ladysmith and Duncan as well as Mount Sicker.

Well it's across the road from the dump. Of course there's bears there, but who'd want to eat one?
