Hi All,
Long story short, I took apart my crosman pumpmaster 760 and seem to have some problems putting it back together. I found the document on crosman.com with the expanded view of all the parts of the pumpmaster 760. However that doesn't show how to properly assemble them (and oh my god is the quality of that document poor!) So, please excuse me if part numbers are slightly wrong, they are hard to read).

I found a video on youtube that showed how to get the trigger assembly together, but I still have some questions about piece #766-030 (white plastic part in which spring is inserted into) and piece #760C080 (the spring). The spring rests on piece #760E078 (last piece of the pump I would think) and then the white plastic part goes onto the spring. But where does the white plastic part (766-030) goes? Does it stay in the barrel, resting on the plastic divider that's part of the receiver? The white plastic part seems to have a hole through it, however I can't quite see what's the use of it: It looks like there should be a screw that goes through it.

Also, what's the purpose of piece #760B057 (L shape piece that goes under the trigger piece)? Does it actually fit into the plastic equivalent of the "bolt" (#760H098)? From what I could see, the only use of the L shape piece is to stop the operator from engaging the trigger while the bolt is cocked.

Finally, when I #### the bolt, there used to be a "click" sound. However, right now it seems like there is no sound whatsoever. I also find it odd that no piece interacts with the bolt. I'm sure this is incorrect.

Please help

The white piece you just push in to the back of the tube, then the tube drops down and the holes in the tube line up with a place where a bolt goes through. When you put the right side plate on and screw it together one of the screws goes throught the white piece. The L shape piece helps return the trigger when shot. The click you hear is the sear engaging. If you don't hear that I think something is out of place. You can drop me a line if you need more help.

Hi pabirdman, I sent you an email concerning this...did you get it?

Yes,I sent you pics a couple weeks ago.Did you not egt my response?

Hi PaBirdMan,
I got one reply from you with 2 attached pics, but I had replied to that one with another question. I'm still in a bind with my pumpmaster...I'm very close to putting it on the EE with "some assembly required" lol.

At lunch I'm going to try to contact a Crosman service center close by...if nothing can be done soon, it's going in the dumpster.

Cheers!

If you want, you can send it to me.
I'll reassemble it and send it back. KD

That would cost quite a bit in shipping. Anyways, more than I'm willing to pay hehe.

If you can skype though, I could setup something with the webcam and you could guide me into reassembling it: What do you think?
