Y'know, I always thought a single-edge bayonet with the edge facing down was kind of weird.

Sure, it follows convention of how you would most likely wield one in your hand, but in CQB aren't you most likely to make a stab or sweeping slash in a somewhat upward direction towards the torso/head?! (Of a marauding zombie, just to be clear.) My 57 bayo for the PE-90 is double-edged.

Anyhow, nice 590A1! That's the best all-round Mossy pump model, I'd say. Hard to choose between that and the 930 SPX.

You mostly stab with a bayonet towards the torso (when dealing with humans)

A bayonet is a must have accessory.

I am in my mid-50's, I've owned a 12ga. since I turned 15yrs.old, I've been training in various Martial Arts since I was 6yrs.old. In VietNam I went AIRBORNE - along with other SPECIAL schools, got out and joined SWAT.
