Thought I'd let some of the old boys on the deck for some sun. Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful collection of history there, very nice to see subtle changes.
I myself have a 1918 BSA NO1 MKIII*
Recieved it this past Winter from a relative that passed away just after he gave it to me.
I told him i would enjoy it and give it a good home ,and i have.
Only other milsurp i have is a 1943 Winchester M1 Garand, and also enjoy that
piece of history also.

Whoa! second from the bottom, the MkV! Never seen one outside a musuem or book before! Where did you get it and how much?

That one came from a fellow in Belleville,ON about ten years ago.Think I paid asking price of $150.That was when clean Brit SMLE's were under $100. To be honest I didn't realize how rare it was at the time.

I agree, very nice. I've been looking for a trials rifle for a long time. The only ones I've seen for sale in Canada, were a few from International many years ago in extremely limited numbers and in lousy condition.

MKV's

Seems most MKV's ended up in the states years ago mixed in with stacks of regular SMLE's. Used to see them discussed a lot on the old "Lee-Enfield collectors forum". As rare as they are two local collector friends each have one.
Cheers
