Basic Rifle Course by SMC consulting.

Are you guys going to have video cameras rolling? Maybe produce some instructional videos a la the M14 clinic vids. I know those of us who aren't LE or Mil would be mighty interested in your course of instruction and to get a good idea of what to expect if and when a civie course becomes available.:)

Thanks

I know BigRed is big on transitions - but he may be thinking of service members (CF) who very rarely have pistols.

FYI John is great instructor - he's good a great operational resume and takens a lot of classes down South.
His Iraqi's I would have put 99% of them up against most conventional army troops and bet heavily on his guys.

How about a GL class? ;)

Big_Red should be back tomorrow to clarify but I think this one will just focus on rifle skills.

BTW nice MS Paint skills Kevin :p :D.

I'm not sure John was for persec so I put up the blurred face versions.

The Iraqi's - we needed to blur faces, or they might not have faces...

It's great to see some course offerings up here, it keeps people interested, enthused and should spark the interest of new people to the sport. Also very good for the retail businesses of this community, excellent work to Big Red and others affiliated. Thanks.

This is great stuff.

Hopefully for civvies and LEO/MIL this can take part in other parts of the country in the future. The cost for the course is great, but add travel, accomodations etc. it can add up. I'd still do it though :)

Hope they can put out the schedule a little further ahead of time, I would arrange time for this and probably get others from the platoon/service to join up if we could get some time to plan it.

Can't make it for this one...(moving into the new house that weekend..fresh gun room anyone???).

Good luck to all involved and I hope this flourishes.

Mike

Hi Mike,

Yes, its fastball as it was hard to confirm a suitable range, and many of the slots were already filled prior to the course being advertised here on CGN.

Next time I'll give more notice if possible as I understand its hard to get time off, especially at this time of year on such short notice.

A couple guys have leave applications in to their bosses and I'm holding spots for them pending approval. Besides that we've only got a couple spots left.

Big_Red: If ever an Edmonton area crse would be in the coming, I can personally count about 4 friends attending it if it ever happened.
