Stoner SR-15 - value and rarity??

I might have asked you this before Mark, but how would the PWS piston kit work on a Stag N8CQB upper(10.3" barrel), and would a KAC RAS work on it(the Diablo is just a bit out of my price range at the moment :()?

I also read on anther site about a Colt 6920 upper that had the piston kit installed, and the user was pretty happy with how it was working.

I'm thinking of sending you a couple uppers to be worked on......

:)

Talk to your Armorer Section head (Richard in Ottawa)... we arranged for him to test a PWS kit on one of the Colt/Diemaco guns. He should have test data from that installation and can give you feedback directly.

I would expect that the Stag would work well... quality product so I don't see any issues. The PWS site lists the various rails that will fit with their Piston Kit... we've also managed to modify some others that weren't listed but that's always an unknown until we try it.

I spoke with PWS today about these... they are not available yet (the US backlog is playing havoc with delivery times and costs). PWS hopes to have them available in about 8 to 10 weeks and pricing is still not final (doubtful they will meet their original expectation apparently).

We will be getting some for our US office and if we can get permit approval we'll bring a few in to Canada. It looks like they'll be close to the same price range as the Diablo by the time all costs are included.

Would love to get a DC-16, or a Diablo in 6.8. ;)

We are hopeful that we'll see a few of these but not sure when. Parts shortages in the US are making production difficult and cost of materials continues to rise which makes it very difficult for PWS to even set pricing on this new product. Their cost has risen several times since they initially announce and priced it.

As soon as we know something firm we'll post on our website.

Ok, thanks Mark. Any PWS carbine conversion kits on the way?

There is a fellow splitting his upper and lower on the EE right now for the same price.

$2500 each

To me upper should have $1000 more value then the lower. Am I out to lunch here?

I'm supprised that the seller is willing to split them and also suprised the upper hasn't sold.

We have received another export permit for a very limited number of the Knight's SR-15 E3 IWS rifles.

That's awesome Mark.

As much as I like having something exclusive, it's great news that more of these guns are coming in.

Who ever gets them will be very happy. I love mine, especially with the UBR stock and NF 1-4 scope. :)
