Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I have been shooting and hunting most of my life. It is a passion of mine. I also enjoy reloading and re-finishing used rifles. I looked into this site on the advice from a new found friend so I am not sure yet what all this is about.

This site is all about two things:

1. Firearms education: Guns, models, manufacturers, buying and selling, reloading, gunsmithing, legal info, ammo, specs, repairs, shooting, leagues and sports, hunting the works. This is THE definitive site in Canada for this kind of informationand I'm sure you'll love it.

2. Internet pissing matches: This is where you state your opinion either tacitly or implicitly and people who disagree with you will remind you how stupid you are and call you a "troll". Don't let this part bother you too much. Most people here a friendly and helpful. Your bound to make some new friends.

Ontgunner, I think you will be pleased with the 7mm-08 cartridge. My wife and I both shoot this round for deer and have taken elk as well. If you handload, you will enjoy it even more.
