Not much really.

I've been measuring fired brass from hundreds of M14 lovers on this board since 2003 and the majority of them measure around 10 thou over the SAAMI spec (quite low compared to USGI M14's that mic'ed around 15 thou).

Many of the 2007 stamped M14's seem to be mic'ing around UNDER 10 thou. Wow, the high school shop Xhinese M14 Slave workers got it right

We need as many M14s(and SKS, ARs, etc) in this country as we can get. We need a large user base so when the LPC next tries their shenanigans, a large block of voting taxpayers can put some scare into them.

Here are some photos of the 2007 chu wood rifle I received from Marstar a couple weeks ago.
It was a moldy darn thing.
Washed the stock in the bathtub a couple times with hunter’s no-scent shampoo.
Smoothed it down with 0000 steel wool and stained it with gunstock color stain from china-tire, topped off with a few spray coats of diamond coat varathane.
She’s good to go.
