Got new wide open ATT in mail today for NB ranges

Hey, guess what I got in mail today from the NB CFO...

I got an ATT to all New Brunswick approved shooting clubs, ranges, and licenced business approved for gunsmithing. Frequency of Transport : Daily from 0:00 To 23:59 from Aug 4, 2009 to March 31, 2010.

No more ATT request for NB matches for rest of fiscal year.

Are all NB shooters getting them I wonder, or just new applicants?

They stopped giving those out in Manitoba over a year ago, after RCMP took over the CFC.

Those are the standard ATT conditions for both Alberta and BC, as well.

I forgot to add that I did recently buy a new Sig Sauer P226 which had to be added to my 3 club memberships. They magically added the ATT open to all without my asking for it.

Maybe they got tired of handling all those request and decided to open things up to make theirs and our lives easier.

AND gunsmithing services? Nice. That'd save some time. My Ontario ATT covers clubs and competitions, but not gunsmithing.

Alberta ATT's are multi year, in my case, it expires when my license does, same date. To all Alberta gun ranges, and gunsmiths. I guess we're just fortunate.

Ontario ATTs (apply via clubs)_ are fior all ranges in ON but no gunsmiths or post office or border points. They issue them for 3 years or until your PAL expires

Being from NB, it would have ben nice to have it for all Atlantic Provinces. We still need to request ATT going out of province. Maybe it's something that will come next year.
