Any Marlin XS7 rifles here yet?

Allright, just got a call from Shawn at the Sports Lodge. The XS7 I ordered in 7mm-08 is here!

Stay tuned................:)

Been away, and just got back home today. Will pick it up tomorrow and get a scope on it this weekend sometime. If it shoots as well as my 270 and 30-06 do, there will be a new 7-08 in the hills this fall. :D

Click on the picture to see three groups shot with my handloads. All three rifles are just as they came out of the box.

They also have 243 and 308 in stock in the XS7, and 25-06, 270 and 30-06 in the longer XL7.

Still waiting..........weather has been terrible here for more than a week. Rain every day, but looks like it will be clearing up tomorrow perhaps. Hopefully will have the 7mm-08 to the range soon.

brother has one great gun mounted a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x44 on it. I've fired it a few times it's a light gun handles nice groups pretty good with the ammo I tried but we was just breaking in the barrel...:D For a RH gun being fired by a LH shooter I'd say I'd consider getting one if it wasn't for the Ruger77 Hawkeye in LH. Good luck finding one they are worth it

Just got back from the range with the 7mm-08. Put 15 rounds through the rifle using various loads in resized 308 Win brass. The rifle is amazing! Not one three shot group was larger than 1 1/4 inch, and that was with some plier-pulled  154 gr Hornadys.

Three 160 gr Accubonds ahead of 42 gr IMR4350 shot into less than 3/4 inch. Not bad for a rifle that is just getting started. :)

Going to give the barrel a good cleaning and head back up there after supper. Will take the camera this time.
