.22LR Tracer Rounds

Anyone ever got a chance to try these? I had a chance to buy a metal crate filled with them many MANY years ago but I never did. Always wished I had!

Bad for the barrell cause unlike other tracers they light up to soon - nice to see the glow starting from the crown tho --

The ones I seen didn't start glowing for about 25-50 yards ???

Usually start burning in the barrel - light up on exit or a few yards from the crown - depending on the ammo --

Some exploding bullets in .22lr were made & sold at least stateside back in the day, Mr. Hinckley in fact shot President Reagan with at least one of them, the ones that hit the President didn't explode, - Mr. Brady was hit in the head with one, that might have exploded.
