Starter IPSC/PPC rig for S&W M&P?

Hello,

What would be a good holster/belt/mag pouches rig for the S&W M&P and where would I procure it in Canada? Looking to get the most value for my coin and have it effective for IPSC/PPC and perhaps IDPA.

The best rig I would suggest would be from Bladetech products. Gp tactical carries them I believe. This website is from the states but I got some holsters from them and the shipping is not that bad :http://www.reddotshooting.com/

Blade tech DOH (Dropped & Off set)

For PPC you'd need at least level 2 retention. I recommend the gould and goodrich K force series holster. Got mine at MD Charlton

I use the safariland holster for my MP (model 6280-219) and binnachi double mag pouch, calde ridge inner and outer belt. I love this set up and is allowed for all ppc comps including the duty pistol course of fire.

+1 extremely good duty rig for the money (I'm assuming you're considering duty pistol PPC) - you can shoot duty pistol with a Blackhawk Serpa too.

If I remember correctly, thats the one with the hood as well as the side button release. So yes, I think this should be approved for PPC/IDPA

The duty holsters they sell do offer this but the price on Blade-techs site is actually close to what I paid for the G&G holster, duty belt and double mag pouch. You can certainly get a Serpa, double mag pouch and belt for a little over $100.

You might as well just go ahead and get an expensive CR Speed holster... lots of money but if it's for IPSC, you'll probably end up going that way sooner or later.

I got my complete IPSC rig for my M&P9 from him.

AA belt, Bladetech holster and Ghost mag pouches. Can't go wrong with comb for our M&P9

Maybe it's not realistic to expect one holster to serve (well) for all three sports.

I'd decide which sport I was most likely to engage in, and buy the ideal holster for that.

Is there someplace in Canada I can order a CR speed belt and 5 CR Speed versa pouches? Seems like that stuff is pretty much standard. So I'd be sitting on a Blade-Tech DOH holster and CR speed belt with 5 CR Speed versa pouches at the end of it all. Good choice?
