CDP Provincial Match

There also appeared to be some issue regarding the use of the range. Information provided prior to the match indicated that the match would held on adjoining Ranges 3 and 4. In fact only Range 3 was utilized and it appeared that the Navy Combat Shooting Team that was practising on another range were required to provide a monitor on our range. What was at issue was never explained.

I believe the Navy has some secret weapon for the matches that they don't want anyone to know about. Maybe they thought someone would scale the wall between 4 and 6 and have a peek at what they were doing.

Best way to beat the competition is to practice with them!

I think if Mr Burke should step in here and clear things up . If not i am finished with CDP. At least with IDPA i can get our club members holstered Qualified and if we have a problem Steve David will sort it out right away.
i,m still waiting for my paperwork from taking the cdp course in november.
I have met and talked with david on other biz related matters and all he said was ill talk to the people at CSSA to find out whats going on.
I feel like a real dumb ass, as eveyone told me bad things aboit him now its all true....

It is a range requirement to have a qualified/certified RO (from that club) to monitor the ranges. The Naval Combat Team was training on Range 6 but to be in compliance and allow the match to be carried out, the Navel Combat Shooting Team volunteered a RO to supervise. Thank you for all who rotated the duties.

I was on Range 6 have my Azz handed to me by some old Buzzard from the west coast...Thx Canuck44.... it doesn't hurt much anymore LOL

Not sure what that means. There were many there from our club alone qualified and approved to run that range and as we always do without someone as "monitor".

wondering

I have taught the CDP course for about a year and a bit now and I am becoming more and more distrusting of the group. I am truly wondering if the students of CDP are really getting a good service. I like the course, but the service and the way it is run is starting to scare me.

I voiced my concerns about the way the "CDP Business" appeared to be run to the CSSA when I chose not to renew my membership.....hopefully this is a wake up call for them and they distance themselves from CDP and Mr.Burke.

I already am a member in the NFA as well as the NRA and joining the CSSA again would be a good thing.
Just my two bits ..........
