Just wondering?

I've heard of a few who were not successful. Although by the reports I hear there is a greater abundance of deer than ever yet it seems that fewer tags are being issued.

the phone number is on the MNR website. 24/7. I was sucessful in 64A and my hunting buddy got his for 66A. Maybe I'll actually get to eat venison this year.

I got my doe tag for wmu 54 this year as in the past, everyone in my camp of 12 gets one if they apply. There were additional bow only doe tags in wmu 54 in 2007-2008 but none this year. The MNR biologist in Minden told me the decision was based on lower tags filled in 08 than 07 and the deep snow and long winter.

I didn't get one :( 62, back up was 68B, didn't get that one either. Mind you it is easier to go deer hunting with your truck..hitting them when they jump out, not shooting from...they wander up and down the roads around me all the time.

68a never got mine again this year 3yrs now with no doe tag for me.....my one hunting buddy got one for the above mentioned WMU and I haven't checked my dad's yet.

Nothing for 63A or 64A.
Remember the GTA is not the center of the world, eastern Ontario was blasted the last couple years and the number of deer seen really prove this. There have only been 3 deer travel through our meadow, normally you cannot plant anything as they have the soybeans cut to the ground as they grow.
My dad is saying this looks like the 70s all over again in 63A.

No luck for 65, first time in over 10 years. I have only ever shot 1 doe but it's nice to know you can if its mid December and you've been skunked so far.
