I like the idea of Browning as a name, but it may not have the best 'ring' to it when you're calling it out in the field.
Regardless of the name, that's a sharp looking pup.

I heard sharp, monosyllabic names were best for field calling.

2 syllable names are generally preferred for call names, particularly if they have different tones to them. Short 1 syllable words are best kept for obedience commands.

How about some better pictures of your pup. That pictures at a bad angle and it looks like he has bad shoulder structure which may not be the case. How about some face on and side on pictures?

Thats awesome! I love GSPs, however I own two Weimaraners-->a short hair (15 months)and a long hair (6 months). They are great dogs, and I have had a lot of fun training and learning from these guys. If you ever want a hunting partner from back east give me a call! We can run the dogs for birds and use the Vortex for varmints!!
