Ross measurement. Can you help?

I need to confirm the exact distance from the action/barrel root junction to the middle band rear edge. Do you have that answer?
I have a doubt about the actual placement of that band on my bubbaed 1910 Ross.
If it is at the right place, all is well.
If it has been moved to the rear, hiding the splice between the remaining wood and my newly carved extension will be a lot harder.

Thanks Cantom!
Too bad: the stock was cut just a mere 1" too far to the rear. That means my splice has better be exact so the junction between the two pieces shows only a hairline.
I'll go see one of my friends; he has a special finger jointer which makes perfect tight joints.
