I've searched high and low and so far have come up empty so here goes. I just got a flash hider modified to fit my CZ 858 and I'm now wondering what is the best way to refinish it. If possible I'd like to make it the same colour as the enamel on the rifle, if not no biggy. So here's the question what products have you found that gives a durable finish and resists corrosion from Czech surplus ammo.

Thanks, Jacko

P.S: Somehow I expect there to be alot of votes for duracoat but I'll ask anyway.

I asked the same question a few months ago and the answer was "Bluke" engine paint by Cummins. I ordered a can and it was a pretty close match.

Bluke painted thread protector (on the rifle) and an unpainted stock one (below):

Robak, where did you buy that vertical grip? It's exactly the one I want.
Also, have you tried that Aimpoint micro beyond 100m?

The grip is borderline "unobtainium" as it's a Larue Tactical "FUG". I just started putting the extras on that CZ a few days ago (I'm keeping 1 CZ stock, turning that second one into a Christmas tree:) ;)), and only just got it zeroed last weekend. Only had time to fire it to 100m so far.

I apologize for the hijack Jacko.
