To change a bottom plate on LAR-15 mags for a Tactipul, do you have to bend those little metal tongues to rermove it or it just slides out? And then you slide the Tactipul in? Please help.

yes, use a rod of some sort or small screw driver and bend the plates up. Then slide them out. Pretty simple, and exactly the same as the GI mags. You can look up how to clean a GI mag and see some pictures via google I'm sure.

cheers,

You don't need to bend the tabs and I don't recommend it. Use a small screwdriver to slide the end of the bottom plate towards you and then slide it out by hand. You don't need to move it very far to get it started. As suggested, putting a round through the hole will help slide it out but I found I had to get it started first with a small screwdriver. The the tactipul slides nicely into place w/o having to get the tabs back in place.

Thanks, guys, that's exactly what I did - pry on the large tab at the front of the plate with a screwdriver and pull it out. Went extremely smooth.
