is it the mark 3 that are popular with target shooters, and if so where do I look for 1

in edmonton milarm had a martini cadet in ok shape for 800 beans I thought was a little much

This is an International MK111 and they are getting harder to find. I've owned several but this has turned into a keeper. Scope is a Litchert 12X and have the peeps for it as well.

No, Jeff, it's not the post war model. This rifle is pre WW11 and listed in 1939 US Stoeger catalogue at $125. It was the first rifle that I bought with my own money.:)

It will be going onto the EE probably this fall/winter and I would love to get $800 for it:welcome::dancingbanana:
 
Very nice, been shopping for a martini .22 myself.

I'll second all of that. Great looking rifle; classic beauty. And I too have been quietly looking for a BSA, preferably one with Canadian government/military markings. They seem to pop up from time to time but I've never had the coin at hand when they do.:redface:
