M-14s AVAILABLE

johnone... I think we have a BIG problem. I called on Friday the 7th and ordered my M14s over the phone. I dealt with Jim and he told me I was the 26th order. He assured me that my order was processed and my M14 would be on its way (and if it wasn't here in 15 days to call back). I just checked my credit card statement and there is NO charge from Marstar. :confused::confused::confused:

It's too late to call your office right now and it's probably better that way... I'm NOT impressed one bit and could probably use the day to cool off.

I will check this out tomorrow, now that you sent me your real name I can trace the file....
Well lets say that you were the 26th in line for the just under 100 M-14s.....We did NOT cease operations the minute we got the M-14 orders....ALL other orders continue

Well I must apologize that we delayed so long....We do have other orders in the works. The M-14s were simply in addition to what we already had going.... ALL ORDERS go into a chain, they are filled in the sequence received.... You may well have been 26th for the M-14, but you are possibly 50-60th or more in sequence....

If you ordered on the Friday 7th, we are closed week ends, at the earliest your order may have been sent for processing would have been Tuesday or Wednesday of last week.... Once selected it would have gone to the shipping dept, checked again, wrapped and made ready to ship....

After shipping it would go to invoicing and transfer, unfortunately we CANNOT ship before the CFO authorizes it.

I hope you do realize that CC companies can take 3-4 days to post charges to your account....

In your above message I seem to detect a high level of dissatisfaction, this we do not like to see, we want our cutomers to be happy.... If this matter is causing you any undo stress allow me to apolgize once more and offer to cancel the transaction if that will help ease the stress level you are experiencing....

Now having said that, has the CFC been slow in approving M14 transfers? My tinfoil hat is on! :D

When I bought my M-14S it didn't show up on my CC account until 3 days after I received it. I thought I had got the deal of the century for those three days. Don't be too quick to get angry, but it probably is good to follow up just to make sure.
 
There was a high degree of dissatisfaction in my post because I recalled having read on a thread that someone had already received their M14 from Marstar. If someone had actually received theirs and there wasn't even a charge on my account then I don't think it would be going overboard to be a little miffed... and to be concerned that my order somehow vanished.

I usually try to have the facts before reacting to anything. Anyways, I hate waiting for things so I can understand.
 
I guess I'm not cut out for retail. Too many high-strung kids who must have their order processed right NOW, and when it's not, then feel free to put out anonymous cries for help slagging the vendor. I ordered mine on the 7th as well, and hadn't thought about it until I stumbled on this thread. I think I need to add a gratuity to my order out of sympathy for Marstar.

YOUR STATEMENT "So what's the Story here ? are they still available or what ?"

WHO gave you the mandate to investigate our clients orders or our delivery procedures ??
Each order that was received and accepted WAS confirmed....To the customer....

I made every effort to keep this board aware of events, first we posted the availability, then progress reports and when they were SOLD OUT it was posted.... What more could we do....??

Just a suggestion, maybe a bad one, maybe not

why not have the thread title changed to reflect these are sold out

After they were sold out, why was this thread not then closed, so no one could ask the same question over and over again

If there were questions on why product was not in the hands of the customer, or the status of their order, or any other related question between the customer and the seller, should go through either another thread, PM's, or a phone call

Would this not be a bit of a better way to handle this, and not have members and vendors getting upset with each other.....

Just a thought, for whatever it's worth

Now that you provided me with a real name it became a simple matter to track your order....

1) YES you did place your order on Friday Aug 7th....

2) As you know we are closed on week ends (Aug 8th & 9th)

3) Your order was sent to the warehouse on Monday the 10th for selection. It was placed in the queu at that time.

4) Your rifle was selected, inspected, packaged on Aug 16th and the paperwork sent upstairs.

5) Aug 17th, the paperwork was confirmed and it went on for invoicing this morning (Aug 18th) .
We proceded as quickly as possible given the volume of orders on hand....

I fail to see what someone else receiving their rifle before you has to do with your order ??.... ALL orders are treated with equal attention....
