Has anyone tried these Tech sights on their SKS?

Tech sights

I put TS200 sights on my Yugo and my groups went from 4-6 inches at 100 yards to 1-2 inches at 100 yards. That is with surplus ammo . Think about it your sight radius is increased by 8 inches .

I own and use the "ts200" model with the target front post. It is a well made little thing. Not a fan of the fact that the base is aluminum, but it seems to be holding up well.

I can't really boast about any group size decreases as I don't shoot for groupings. But once zeroed, it hits what I'm aiming at. So far their claim that the sight doesn't lose zero when you take it off to dissemble the rifle is true. No zero loss from what I can tell after removing and replacing it 3 or so times.

I say go for it. If you like the style of sight, its probably the best piece for the job.

These sights look nuts... makes me wanna order one from that site and slap it on my Ruskie SKS when it gets here... if it gets here.

So, I have a question about the flip down tech sights. Is one sight larger diameter than the other? (for closer ranges) Or simply at a different height from the sight base?

Good price for some nice irons.

From what I have read, I believe that they are two different sizes apertures, at the same height. One being much larger than the other.

I bought three of these sights several years ago. The ones I have require the removal of the rear SKS sight and spring. Get the elevation adjustable sight as well rather than the flip sight.

I use them on the 10/22. Very accurate. Also made for the SKS.
Here is pic of the 10/22:

i bought when the dollar was par, but still not a bad value: here is the link:

TS-200 Rear sight for SKS

I have a new one yet to put on. I'm very impressed with the sight.

Direct from Tech-Sight wxw.Tech-SIGHTS.com, $66.77 US.

There is only one aperture, 0.062" which is just about perfect. Their sight adjustment pamphlet says that if the rifle is xeroed at 20 yds, then it will be 3" high at 100 yds and right on again at 200 yds as the bullet drops below the sight line.

I am anticipating grouping into 3 or 4" at 100 yds.:)

Next week the testing begins.

I hope that this helps.

they work great on a 10/22 and are inexpensive and well made. im not sure how they work on the sks, or if it might interfere with the take-down and cleaning process (looks like it needs to be removed to open the receiver cover). im a big fan of aperture sights and really wish i could get some kind of similar receiver sight for the CZ-858. the increased sight radius makes a huge difference, and an aperture sight is easier and faster to line up than a notch style rear sight.
