Hi Danny,

Right here in Kanada I had to put some correct parts on it to make it complete. I have a course US&S hammer on its way. I decided to keep it as I figured I will never get another one.

Yes welcome to the club! What a gorgeous example. Where did you find it I must ask?
 
Heres mine, with a pair of grips i made.. I always wanted a stainless gun but their alway too expensive for me, so after a little work heres what i have:

I Still have a bit of work to do to get some little black spots off, but other than that i liked the look of it with the black safety/trigger/slide stop, to each their own i guess
 
Grips are cool. Just my .02 cents but stainless (home brew) 1911's are for posers. I would get that Norinco parkerized. Just my opinion no insult meant as it is your gun. Also if you leave it bare polished metal be prepared to oil it every 10 minutes to stop the rust.

Make sure you lube and oil it well...or it may rust faster than you think now that you've removed the bluing...I like it though....
