These rifles can also be seen next to neostead shotguns in doomsday.
Its a solid design being basically entirely a galil but its not exactly the best bullpup when we can get tavors.

if you look at the picture posted I think it is a tavor.. look how thick the front of the handgaurd is? The vector looks very thin, and my tavor is thinker looking.. I saw the movie last week and thought it was a tavor as well. I did realize that the other firearms were also south african, so maybe you are correct.

its the vektor. the Tavor is straighter at the forend. you can easily see how the front slopes down.

there were R4's and CR-21's in the movie because thats whats available in SA
there was also a FAL/SLR used as a sniper rifle by one of the PMC's in the chopper .. because SA used to use them too, so they would be available in SA

Vektor makes great knock-offs... probably some of the best given the Aparthied trade restrictions on South Africa.

Not to the general public though, cannot own these, don’t think this has changed since I was there, the new gun laws are even worse, thanks Wendy. Film suppliers may have stock, mind you a good advert for vector, sanctions did the arms industry a world of good, SA makes good arms. Vektor SP1 handguns also Z88 based on Beretta 92. R4 based on Israeli Galil derived from AK, R1 based on FN.

My Vector SP1, May be in Film as well.
