Put the camper on the trailer, and the quad onto the truck! Unhitch trailer, block it up, and voila! (Assuming that your trailer will carry the camper)

Yes, I have seen that done a few times, and not a bad idea either!
One problem I have is that my quad is a bit too wide to fit between the wheel wells in the bed of the truck. There's ways around that too though.

max weight is 1280lbs on the '08 Tacoma 4x4 TRD.
This camper only weighs about 800 pounds, so I should be ok after loading all my gear. Canadian Tacos already have the extra leaf spring.

yes and no. If your sleeping bag and ground insulator suck then you'll freeze.

If you have a good sleeping bag and a 4" foam mattress, sleeping on the ground ain't bad.

For 1 day hunts I'd drive to the hunting area night before, lay a cheapy 8x10 ft tarp on the ground, mattress and sleeping bag on 1/2 of it, and then fold the other half of the tarp over top of me when i was in the bag. Woke up more than once with several inches of snow covering the tarp, but i was still warm and dry.

Campers and trailers are good for fall hunting, but they tend to be damp inside when it snows. And most of them aren't made to use the water tank / sytem in colder weather because the pipes will freeze and break.

A wall tent and wood stove are the best hunting investment i ever made, and running a close second is a very good sleeping bag.
 
Campers do make a big difference. There's nothing like being able to crank the heat, have a nice, hot meal and get a good night's sleep, to keep you running 100% on your hunt!

Nice find! The only drawback is the high humidity of propane heat. Really not so bad until the temperature gets way down there though.

I'min the processs of fixing up my hunting trailer, a bit of a moisture issue :( but a bit of new wood and a some insulation and a lot of glue solves a lot of problems. :(

HAHA! Phil, you need to go a little slower over the potholes.... that's how the seams open up on ya!

....Plus, don't put so many loose Nagants in the back rattling around!
