51100 Government Model Colts .45 were shipped to Russia 19 Feb 1916 to 18 Jan 1917, serial numbers in C23000-C89000 range, They were marked like commercial arms except for "ENGLISH ORDER" stamped in Cyrilic on lh of frame. This mark was to show the order had been handled by the British Purchasing Commission which was handling Allied orders.
