22-250 sierra loads needed

bullet weight+ load data+ responable loading techiques= a well developed load.

Who makes the bullet is about as relevent as the make model and serial number of your rifle.

The Sierra manual gives an accuracy load for every one of their bullets, this is a great place to start "developing" a load if it was not safe than they wouldn't publish it.

I wish people would actually read the title of the post and stop with the silly opinions.....This place is getting worse all the time....

Because it was accurate in the universal receiver they used in their testing.
Pfffpt. it means nothing.

Find some data, work the loads in your rifle, and you determine the accuracy load in your rifle.

Silly is believing that your rifle will do the same as their universal receiver.

Load for the bullet weight. Who made it doesn't matter. Lyman manuals give an 'accuracy load' too.
"...great place to start "developing" a load..." Yep, but it doesn't have to be Sierra data. My Lyman book gives IMR4064 as one of the accuracy load powders. Very versatile that IMR4064. Good for .308 and .30-06 match loads too.

Silly is arguing on the internet....

If you are not going to answer my specific question why bother to post?
