Help picking a gun... I am going to buy the classic green or (black special) but need to know is a used one ok??? or should these be bought new only??? what is a fair price for one used??? and is there any difference in lets say a Swiss Arms Classic Green thats is a few years old and one that was made last week ??? any improvements???

I would buy used, the rifles barely wear at all, save an easy few hundred dollars. If you're in the GTA, I believe Target Sports had a lightly used CG that I've handled and which looked good.

All my SAN's were used when purchased, I have owned 6 & currently still have 3.
I'm guessing there good for 20K rounds so dont let 1K or 2K down the tube scare you away from a great deal on the EE!!!!

Ok called and they do... They said it was a year or two old tho how was it did it look like new... Any difference between that one and one that was made recent ...if you yell me it's good koalorka I trust u and I will pick it up

The guns haven't changed in the last 10 years. I've seen it, had the usual scuff aft of the ejector port, but otherwise mint.

Something else to consider would be barrel twist rate. A lot of older Classic Greens are 1/10 while the newest lot that TSE got are all 1/7.

Everyone of my Swiss rifles have been used. It's cheaper that way ;)

A fair price would be in the 2700-3000 range. They are 3200 brand new.

OK so what is better 1/7 or 1/10 then?
I use usually 55gr fmj but for hunting the heaver and faster the better like a 72 gr or something
