M63 Tanker?

Pre-butchered rifles. Wow. I love how they describe their "SS" Mausers as "Gestapo" rifles. As if the secret police would be carrying rifles.

Mitchell's Mausers is a firearms fraud and ideally should be put out of business.

I haven’t seen these advertised for sale here in Canada. Something I did find interesting was the comment from the description:
“A foreign government had placed an order with the Serbian factory, but had failed to take delivery. Mitchell’s was able to contract for the entire lot and bring it to the United States market at the very attractive price of only $495.”
I wonder which “foreign government” would order a bolt action in this day and age and why they would want them in 4 different calibers (8mm, 30-06, 308 & 243)?

I've seen some of their 98K sniper put-togethers, and not only are they fake, they're surprisingly shoddily made.

With regards to the tanker, they are made at the Zastava factory in Serbia. I believe Mitchell's ordered them to be built and made up the fairy tale story behind them. From what I've read online Mitchell's and Zastava have had a falling out so I imagine if a dealer wanted to take over from them it would be possible to import these. If they were marketed correctly and sold as what they are, a factory made sporter, they probably would sell well.

Click Sporting Rifles, then M48/24 M48/63.

Looks like they make factory sporterized SKS's too.

HUNTINGFISH;
I have dealt 100s of thousands of Mausers out of the former Yugoslavia....
There is no such thing as "Tanker Mausers"
All of these are made up guns.... As for them being for a foreign government BS....
I know for a fact that the company in question purchased a lot of the left overs that we would not accept.... They are a joke at best
Buyer BEWARE
John

"...no?..." Exactly. The muzzle flash and noise from a short berraled .243 isn't light. I got some comments about the bang from a 22" barrel.
"...restricted would it not be?..." That's for semi-autos. Mitchell's fake rifle(no such thing as a 'tanker' K98) is long enough overall.

If the quality is junk then forget about it. Thanks.
