Hi,

Live in GTA, looking to add AR-15 to my little collection. Never had anything like that, and there are a lot of different makes/models around, very hard to choose from.
I'd like to come to some place where they have a choice, look at them and make my choice.
Checked Questar https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=280&cat=All+Brands... - good choice, but they do not have a store.

Anywhere else, please?
If no such place, from the link above, what shall I take?
My budget ~1600 for the thing itself + sight + stuff.
Reasons - shoot it at the range, look at it at home and hope zombies will come some day as a proof to my family that money well spent.
Please?

go to the range and look at what others have. decide what you like.

for $1600 for gun/ammo/access you are looking at a used gun. $1600 is the price of the gun including taxes/shipping.

you can get a new norinco M4 for ~$1000 shipped. all the guns mix and match except for one or two odd ball versions of the AR

Not many ARs at my range.
Yes, I mean 1600 for the gun itself, and ready to spend more on gadgets.

But I am completely lost with "heavy", "lightweight", "goverment" barrels, 20 or 16, 5.56 or .223/5.56, etc etc.

for around 1500 - 1600 $ Go with Questar.
Look for their CMMG line up, can't go wrong with the store or the product for that price. ( some at 1499$ )
Stag is great too, but out of stock at ArmEast for the moment.
Maybe you can still find some models around.

Somebody has to ask. You have your RPAL? Belong to a shooting club authorized for restricted rifles?
Epp's wants $1578.80 plus taxes for a 20" Bushmaster.
