Hello, fellow shooters

I've decided to get into this "non-restricted black rifle" thingy while I wait for my RPAL to arrive:D. Well, I've been reading a lot of positive stories about Swiss arms black, green rifles... Then, I see them on Ellwoods for $3678.85(green, black, black tactical, all the same price). They include cleaning kits and a hard case... Is it a reasonable price???

Thanks in advance, black riflers~~~;)

that is the current retail price pretty much across the country +/- a couple of bucks/tax etc
they do come up in the equipment exchange so watch there once you are able to join it

Are fore-mentioned ones the same packge deals?? I mean does it come with 2 magazines, cleaning kit, and a hard case???
You guys rock, i really love this place!!

Yount, Yes, they all come with the same kit. Some may even replace the 5 round mags with 20's. Talk nice to TSE and they may do so. or have them throw in 50 rounds of ruag gp-90, might do that also.

This is all because the importer isnt TSE anymore. Since TSE has gone out of the mix prices have gone insane. The rifle was cheaper back when our dollar was close to 60 cents.

I think it has a lot more to do with the rise in value of the Euro. check out the prices in Switzerland, no screamin deal there either.

2,820.00 CHF

2,894.22 CAD
Switzerland Francs Canada Dollars
1 CHF = 1.02632 CAD 1 CAD = 0.974357 CHF

Last time I did this when TSE had them our prices where on par with the swiss, not a whole 4-700$ more.

Sorry prices are bull#### because FN sports is the importer and they dont give a rats ass about civilian shooters.

Don't like it? Import it yourself. Not like I'm sticking up for FN Sports or anything, but across the board most Swiss or German firearms are about 25-50% more expensive here than over there.

FWIW our rifles come with 1 in 7" twist barrels, no cleaning kit or sling and one SAN 20/5rd mag or 2 x Can Am mags.

I don't think you can import them for less than what you can buy them here if you can let me know because I am looking to buy 4 more plus the 751 if I can ever get my hands on it, a 550-1 sniper too.

Question from a noobie...
What is twisted barrel??? 1:7? 1:10? Obviously I'm the student here so please teach me, teacher!!!

Tae,

p.s.) do you guys take deposits??? Thanks.

1:7, 1:10 refers to how many times the bullets does a full 360.

So 1:7 means, the bullet does 1 twist in 7 inches.

So, they have nothing to do with the barrel length itself?? and, what are the pros and cons?? sorry for too many questions...:bump:
thanks.
