Sorry if this should be in the optics section but thought I should put it here(move it if you must). Last Wednesday I personally dropped off at their repair center in Markham two elite 3200 3-9x40's as well as two pairs of bino's(one being a year old and one at least eight years old). Today the mail lady dropped off a package containing two scopes and two sets of bino's all brand new!!!!!! No questions asked, no repair job just brand new stuff and in less than a week. Finally a company that will back up there goods

So now I'm wondering why my scope has been there since April and a receipt dated May 26th? Am I getting hosed or is someone else just plain lucky?..........wTc

What was the issue with the scopes and binocs?

.

Moisture on the inside of the 3200's. I have had several 3200 and no probs other then this one, one of the replaced scopes was my dads, they were both on rifled slug guns and had the exact same problem at the exact same time. They were kept in a warm camp and then once out in the cold a moisture spot on the inside of the objective end would form that you could not see through.
The one pair of bino's had a zoom feature and the gear was striped so only one side would zoom. The other set of bino's I dropped and could not get both sides to focus together.

That is odd as I have been told by a few other guy's recently that mailed theirs out and still got them back within three weeks. Here is the number of the shop 905-771-2980 I would give them a call and inquire.

Yup Bushnell has great repair/return policy. My father bought a used and beaten Bushnell off e-bay. It didn't work so well, so he sent it to Bushnell and they sent him a brand new scope! I've supported them ever since.

Well, I'm not as thrilled with Bushnell as many others. I called to inquire about my scope thats been there since early May and was told that it can't be fixed and it was made prior to them establishing the Lifetime Warranty thing and that I will have to pay over 100 dollars for a replacement 4 x 12 x something. Not very *******likely! They have cashed my 10$ service fee cheque though.

I bought a busted 20 year old 3x9 banner off the EE, what are the chances of me getting it replaced? do I have to be the original owner?

So you bought a bushnell product prior to, or without the lifetime warranty...and you expect them to just magically give you one?

You think a different company WOULD do this for you? My diagnosis is user error.
