Grizzly Mag-Fed issue

By double feed, I presume you mean that the empty has failed to be extracted properly and the fresh round from the mag is trapped between the mag and the chamber?

The Chinese 870 clones have had issues with ####ty ejectors and ejector wires with more of a hump than a step bent into them.

Boufght a mag-fed and tried it out this past weekend. It seems to have this annoying propensity to double feed. Any suggestions?

Frustrating isn't it? I have polished my chamber and still the same issue. I heard sanding the lips on the mags helps so that is the next thing I am going to try.

No, what I mean is that the bolt manages to strip the 1st round out of the mag but the pump jams. Then I try to pump it again and get the bolt hung up on the second round while the 1st round's still sitting on top of the mag right in front of the chamber..........

Hey, wait a second. I just realized that it's not double-feeding. It's simply not feeding. When it would fail to chamber, I'd instinctively try to pump again, pulling back on the forend first and then trying to chamber a second round while the first one was sitting in front of the chamber.

I dunno, is it my age? Or am I simply THAT stoopid

CORRECTION; it doesn't like to chamber a round. Any tricks?

I had the same issue with my Grizzly Mag but it seems to have gone away now that I have put a few hundred rounds thru it. I did polish the internals as well but it still had feed issues for awhile after. Just give it a little time and hopefully once it's broken in it will get better......

I had the exact same problem when I first bought my Grizzly Mag. The problem is that the lips of the magazine are roughly finished, so that the gun can't chamber the next round after ejecting the fired shell. All I did was sand the lips and smooth them out a little with some sandpaper and the shells are feeding perfectly. Other than that, it's a perfectly built shotgun.

Just wondering if this can be solved with 870 Rem parts.

ARWEN ACE replaced my ejector and spring with factory Rem parts. The Norc rivot was actually undersized, and Casey had to mill the hole up to the factory size.

It works great now.
