I think the frame mounted safety would be more desirable, mainly because the 1911 style safety is (IMHO) a lot more ergonomic than having the flick safety off the slide.

The ones I'm looking at are supposedly steel frame, so I guess they're like the baby eagle. Not at all like the picture I posted. I'll look for the polymer frames.

KO. I got a little lost on this thread. Can you repost exactly what it is you're offering? My understanding is this:

IWI Jericho in .45ACP
Steel frame
4.4" barrel

You mentioned that you would look for a polymer frame but from what I can tell, polymer frame versions come in 9mm and 40cal only. The .45 seems to be available only in steel. I found the info here.

Can you let us know? Can you get the polymer in 9 or 40, AND the steel 45? I'm interested and will PM you to hook up an order if I know exactly what is possible.

Yes I think I would prefer a 9mm over the .45. I really don't need another .45 unless it's a 1911 of course.

The gun that is currently available is the steel frame 45, 4.4" barrel, 10 round. From your information (and the distributors) it looks like there aren't any polymer 45's.
We can't get the 9mm or 40 because they either have short barrels, or mag capacities too great (13 or 15). I've checked all my distributors and nobody has 10 round 9mm or 40 with the full size Jericho.
