Norc Np 201c or np-17 reviews

Beyond its use as a 'fist' gun (LOL), you can't go too wrong. They are solid and thin, but not overly refined. If you follow the other threads, you will get the same general impression.

I've been wondering the same thing myself. The price is good and the firearm seems decent. If they're anything like the M213 than I'm pretty much set on it being my first centrefire pistol ^.^

I've got a 201, bought it because it was very affordable and had a good history of reliablity. Shot maybe 700-800 rds through it and it shoots pretty good. I've shot a few revolvers and thousands of rounds through a mildly pimped out Ruger MK1.
Accuracy wise its better than the revolvers and can't warm up the Ruger. But it is reliable so far.
I bought a 2nd one because it's cool for the bucks spent. And being able to switch over to 7.62mmx25mm in about 2 min's is cool too. I give it a thumbs up.

Where does one get the "kit" to convert it over to 7.62x25mm? And I read on a previous thread on here that someone did the conversion to their 9mm but could not eject a live round

I just did it. No kit , just got the barrel & mags from SKSman(70$). Link and link pin from Marstar.
And nope, you can't eject a loaded round. I live in the country so I've got my own range, LOL. I'd be leary shooting it at a range in case there was a misfire or I needed to "cease firing and clear your weapons". At home I clear it by dropping the clip, pointing it at the target and firing the round in the barrel.NP

There must be different rules out in Alberta regarding discharging a restricted firearm outside of a registered shooting range... and if there are, then by all the powers that be, I will make it my mission in life to move to Alberta

P.S. Thanks for the info on where to get the pieces... Now, would you be able to say, take a die grinder and ever so delicately open up the ejection port to allow a live 7.62TOK round to be ejected? or would the be possible suicide? o_O and or, if one would be able to get their hands on a Tokarev slide would it fit the NP-17? Hmmm.... I apologize to the Original Poster, I've hijacked your thread @.@ but hopefully in the name of further understanding :D

Probably would have to mill on the rear of the chamber as the bullet hooks the barrel not the slide, I'll look next time I have a chance. Yeah Alberta's low population density has it's perks. And to the orginal Poster 'Begging your Pardon as well'

from searching the "Wow....$99 pistol...." thread, a CGN member by the name of asimons (I believe) was selling some pretty sweet grips, pictures of them in the thread... not sure if he still has them or not, but a PM should let you know quick and nicely ^.^ and congrats on your first centerfire pistol purchase decision :D let us know which one you get and how it feels eh? Still leaning towards the NP-17 myself... for some reason the two tone is starting to appeal to me @.@

The walther P1, go for it dood. Wish I had the funds and my paper work in to get me one of those @.@ Fun and historic for me, but also somewhat for my grand father. Found out two weeks ago that the P38 is his favourite handgun O.O almost sets a fire under my arse to save up to get one ><
