The one I have seen/played with is the Visible laser and red dot. Can am might be bringing in a different one though. Not a bad sight, it's pretty damn cool with NV.
 
Any hints on how many are in the next batch verses how many are already pre-ordered?

I would love to get one. I spent near a year in the last waiting list before I gave up and cancelled. While I don't mind getting on a waiting list, I am a bit hesitant due to the cost. It is a major hit if you don't know when to expect it. If I had a concept of how long and which batch it would probably help in saving up the shekels.
 
Yeah, I want heads up too! I would love to have a Tavor. I must take the 4 month payment plan. $3k is a lot of cash. I think I am going mad wanting to spend that much on one firearm.
 
3 grand does seem like a lot when talking about a firearm. Though having a firearm that is a black rifle be non restricted, is where you forget how much money you spent on it.

Keep in mind though, Can Am has a lot of other great rifles, handguns and shotguns for sale.
They are pretty good at keeping the dope guns on lock down.
Good for them, and the rest of the shooting sports.
 
I will ask a question here as well instead of phoning for public benefit:

I placed an online order for a Tavor in May 2008 and an autogenerated order ID# was sent out but since then I have received no communication at all. Am I still in line to receive a Tavor once a new shipment comes in, or do I need to renew my order?

I've noticed in the description that the mags are allowed to hold 10 rounds.
Is this the pistol mag we are talking about or 10/30 pinned?
 
AFAIK, it is the standard MARS fitted to IDF guns. I believe it is IR. I will know more once I get more details. Most people aren't using NVG, so it is not a frequent question.
