Advice needed on Baikal IZH-43KH

I just bought the same shotgun 43 kh, didnt get a chance to shoot it yet, how accurate
is it with shot or slug, and can you hunt anything with it, waterfawl maby? , or is it strictly intended for cowboy action...????
i wish it was good for hunting... so small and light....stick it in your back pack/holster....and forget you carying it..

I've been able to hit hand tossed clays with it, and the limiting factor in that equation would definitely be me. I haven't checked how it patterns.

As for slugs, out of both barrels they printed sort of a 1 foot group at 25 yards, shot freehand. But that was only 4 slugs, fired during one shoot, by two people.

I want to make a holster for this thing too, not 100% sure how I will do that yet though hehe
