Find me a North-American-made rail foregrip for my M14 that costs under a hundred dollars.
I rest my case.
I rest my case.
Im confused, so is this a knock off rail? airsoft? elaborate please...![]()
Daniel Defense Omega Rail. Rail covers. Stubby Grip....Is that over $400 worth of goodies on there.
Nope. Not even $100 delivered to my door from Hong Kong. Never moved, never broke and as you can see, grip and sight attached with no issues.
End of story
Ok so its airsoft???? whatever it is, it's still cheapo stuff no differant then UTG...Knock-off. An E-Bay special that works just like the Real one

better then the original handguards, i'll give ya that...
i see that the materials quality has come up a few times.. UTG make their bits from 6061 aluminium dont they ? its going to be the same 6061 as american made stuff.
Yeah, but is that Chinese metal tough enough to bolt a light flashlight on it, and possibly, a plastic grip?
I have a UTG mini-rail on my CQ556 that I installed to mount a bipod. Bought from Questar. First one broke in half lengthwise on the left side corner. Questar replaced no problem. Second one made an ominous crack when I was attempting to torque the mounting screws.
I don't think the dimensions are quite right as even when you put the proper bushings in place it is impossible (for me at least) to get even tightness on the two mounting screws. Tighten one the other is loose. Snug that one up and the first one is loose.
I haven't been to the range to see what the situation is but I'm guessing it's fractured too. I think the material is just too light and brittle for combat weaponry.
