left my tumbler running, gone out of town. any danger?

My average tumbler time is 2-3 hr.

It is never a good idea to let an electrical appliance run without supervision. It is your house and you make the call.

do you ever turn the dryer on before you go out? better make sure you shut off your furnace and fridge and deep freeze, im sure you know how hot those refidgerant compressors get

i have no probs leavin a tumbler running when not at home

I'm with ya on that. The house is insured to the teeth. Let the inspector figure out what went wrong

Related but different is the rock tumbler that I have owned for about 25 years. I've run it for weeks at a time. Like someone commented earlier it doesnt get any hotter after 1hr or 3 days. All I do is oil the rollers, I've never even replaced the belt.
