Grenville match scores

Looks like there has been some "problems" with that match in general.

I note that it has dropped down to a level I match from its earlier Level II status. Not sure if that has effected the scoring process.

I had a great time there......looking forward to scores at some point.

I had fun too, wish I had more time to stay for the banquet, but had to leave early to make for morning flight on Monday.
Anyway, see you next week in EESA.

i wonder why were the stages setup so that more than two rounds were required on most targets? with the high round count for the match i thought the stages would include more targets and run and gun style. it was a long drive and not as expected. :-(

Squib Load,
sometimes you win, sometimes you loose.
I totally agree, nice range, great people, horrible stages.
Out of 9 stages, only three were without more then minimum two shots required.
Long stage was 7 targets with 4 shots per paper, hmm ?????

Anybody know why it was dropped to a level 1? 40$ is steep for a level 1 even with a supper. No?

There seems to be a disconnect between what is being published on IPSC Matches.net and what is on the IPSC ONtario Calander. It's not the forst time this has happened.

It was always listed on the IPSC Ontario Calander as a Level 1 and that is still the official match schedule. I'm not sure if the requirements were met to make it a level 2...but I'll look into it.

Regarding the results...I have no clue. I have a few emails out requesting an ETA.

grenville Scores

No excuse for delay My fault smeone who RO'd for me left score sheets in my truck that I didn't notice till next day; mailed same day to person who vouluntered to do results, Thanks to that RO I really did need the help sorry I missed them till next day,
Sorry for delay will post as soon as available !
Match was downgraded by IPSC Ontario I Guess?
Giving over $500 in door & worker prizes with free lunch to all not to account for free supper to all who stayed constituted $40 entry fee!
Sorry Ipsc Ontario felt they had to downgrade match to level 1?
Haven't done match like this for couple years was an refreshing experiance
have to learn Squading again, learn how to print scoresheets to avoid confusion!
Will promise to study stages and sanctioning to avoid issues in future!
Having over 30 shooters drop out in last week eye opening?
Having 10 RO & CRO's & RM drop out in last week eye opening?
When doing Topgun Matches had no Problem giving up to $5000 in door prizes will have to review old matches?
Please accept my apoligies and anyone who feels that they didn't get their moneys worth please feel free to contact me,I'll do what I can to make it right.
I advertized the match as shoot & feast gave lots of shooting and good supper
for all who stayed as well as lunch for all who partaked in it . Supper was all you could eat Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Corn, Buns . Desert Apple crisp with Ice cream & coffee & free wine .
I think a decent deal
Please contact me personally if you think I misrepresented the Match!

On another note

Had matches with 45 yd Poppers _ Too hard
Had Stages with 3yd low ports -To Hard
Had matches with complex ports -to Hard
Had matches complex courses of fire -to hard
Had stages with targets -too close
Had stages with ports too high (but within rulebook regulations) Too Hard
Had stages with ports too low
Had too any swingers too hard (8)
Had too many small poppers in front of No shoots(6)
Had stages with walkthroughs too complicated
Had stages with thinking order of targets too hard
why do we assume targets only require two hits too engage?
why do we assume that we don't have too listen to walkthroughs?

If we make everthing equal and the same how do we assume that this will be usefull, in making us better competitors there has to be challenges to our brain retention, and phyiscal attritubes to make this sport fun , remember that unless we have fun!!! and challenge our mental retention and physical abilities we will all fall into going to compete in syncranized swimming!!!!

This match was not too hard. If anything I say it was not hard enough! I haven't any misses there :). Make it harder next time.

One thing I'd like to note is that preparing and posting scores is integral part of the match.
I think too often we see that people put a great effort and make great match, but then treat scores a something unimportant. Match is not finished until scores are posted.

Stats

Did that John, trained my son to do them, man was he fast , but anyone who can type 100 words per minute what would you expect . But to my dismay he got into girls and stopped shooting so I lost the speed demon.
It'll happen to you too. Then on guess I'll have to learn all over again how to do them myself, not complaing when someone else volunteers you get what you get. It's my fault that they were late being posted no one else's I take full Blame and ask for a second chance. Next year they will be done before the dinner's over.
