Guys this is like god's gift on earth for all AR users. I can't wait to use it to scrape the carbon off my bolt & carrier.

Target Sports have these in stock or get it from CQBservices.

No!!! Try it now Green Tips!!! I would like to see it work!

How much are they guys? Do you have links to the suppliers?

My AR bolt is so crudded up that it looks more like a turd than a firearm component...I hope those things do the trick. I absolutely loathe dirty guns.

I don't see the need, scraping a precision made rifle part with a metal tool is just something I don't do or would recommend.

As long as the metal is softer than the steel of the bolt, all is ok.

THe tool is made of a casting - probably a softer ferrous metal.

Once in awhile, I just use a bit of 0000 steel wool to clean off the carbon after I soaked it for 10 minutes or so with Breakfree (CLP). Works great and and don't have to worry about loosing another small tool :)

Scraping the tail of the bolt will have no effect on the accuracy or reliability of the rifle.

Yes I know, nor does leaving it dirty. Point is too many users insist on scraping and gouging their rifles with unnecessary cleaning procedures. In short if even if someone makes a tool doesn't mean it is required, manufacturers are in it to make money even on useless gadgets.

SSHHHHH. Don't tell everyone. I'll never be able to market my accu-wedge, three point slings, pistol bayonet, and crossbow upper for AR's.

I started cleaning out carbon more often afte seeing corrosion under carbon buildup. Sure, if you never clean it, you will never see it either.

YMMV - I cleaned mine. It is your tool and your money.
