Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR) announces the introduction of the Ruger® SR-22TM Rifle, an autoloading, rimfire rifle that combines the legendary reliability of the Ruger® 10/22® with the ergonomics and configurability of the new AR-style Ruger SR-556TM. The new SR-22 Rifle allows shooters to use economical .22 LR ammunition, while still enjoying the look and feel of an “AR” and experiencing the reliability they have come to appreciate from Ruger.

The SR-22 Rifle uses a standard 10/22 action inside a top-quality, all-aluminum chassis that faithfully replicates the AR-platform dimensions between the sighting plane, buttstock height, and grip.

Who's gonna be the first to bring it in, and who is gonna be the first to own?

Later.....

If they came close to the suggested retail of $625 USD, I bet the would sell good.

That's just my nordic, mass produced.

IF they are allowed into Canada, they are probably going the retail in the $650 to $700 CAD price range for openers.
Who's going to pay that for a .22?
You can't sell a completely tricked out 10/22 now for that money in EE let alone a bone stock off shoot nordic clone.
I say they bomb...

Definately a 10/22 in a shell. I just bought a 10/22 compact for $400 after shipping and I'm now looking for a stock and a bull barrel. A Nordic is around $250 I believe without the buttstock and forend. A TacSol barrel is around $150 I think.

If I could buy a 10/22 with a 16.12" bull barrel with an AR stock for that price I wouldn't hesitate in the least.

I don't think it would take much to make it a pretty capable rifle @ 100y.

Me too...lol.

I was hoping that Ruger would have a funky full sized looking hi cap mag for it...but no such luck. Their video showed 10 round rotary mags...LOL!

Ruger makes the 10/22 now with composite (plastic) parts. Do you think at $650 to $700 CAD your going to get the quality of Nordic & TacSol for that price out of the box??
Not a chance....
