3 point tatical slings

Installation instructions:

1. Open Garbage can

2. Insert 3 point sling

3. Buy a Vickers sling

4. Consider the price you paid for the 3 point pennance for not researching what a proper sling should look and function like

BFG Vickers is the only way to go

i'll stick with my jury rigged 2 point and be secure in the fact that I always have the aforementioned roll of duct tape.

OR

1.a) accept that sling is not really that useful for many functions, and relies on center of gravity for firearm.
1.b) grab scissors, lighter and a hole punch.
2. Cut all metal pieces away (including buckles and snaps)
3. buy screw-together rivets
4. hack sling into usable lengths
5. reattach together in the fashion of an easy to disconnect 2 point sling

Saves money, allows you to save face and create a sling that fits you best.

This worked a few times for me...I f'n hate 3-points now.

At least the Vickers is really just a standard sling with clever adjustment buckles thrown in...the three-points were always a mess and it was pretty obvious from the moment you strapped them together.

i was issued a three point a while ago. it still in the plastic and wont be coming out as long as i have it. too much of a mess for my liking.ill take a good one or two point depending on what im doing. i cant comment on the vickers or bfg slings, ive never used them

3 point = JUNK!! Had one in Bosnia and it sucked balls!! Snaps broke and it became a hinderance. Scrapped it for the issued one.
Had a 1 point on my C7 in the sandbox was nice but cockflopped around. Just got back from CFSAC and shot combat pistol with a 2 point and I will NEVER go back to anything but!!
