vortex scopes.

go to their website and order them there. The shipper is in Ontario, so you should get it quickly.
some of them are on sale right now. I got a Viper 3-9x40 with BDC reticle for just over $400.00 to the door (and $50.00 rebate cheque on the way to me).

You can also try, "Natures Corner Store" in Edmonton. Call Gillian at 780-433-3474, they are carrying the whole Vortex line, spotting scopes, binos and rifle scopes.

no, just bought another aetec off the ee a few minutes ago for the .243 marlin. i have a t/c pro hunter barrel in 7 mm rem on order and i'm looking for a vortex viper to try out on it.

The Vortex Viper is an excellent scope! I have several and I really like them. Norris in Westport sells them, maybe check him out.

I have a Viper 3-9x40 on my 7mm-08 and a Diamondback Rimfire 2-7x35 on my Marlin .44 mag. The rimfire scope is standing up very well to the recoil from the .44 so far.
Before anyone asks why I put a rimfire scope on the .44................it's because it's focused for parallax at 50 yds instead of 100 yds. Makes it much clearer for focus at close "in the bush" range.

I'm very happy with both scopes so far. I really like the fact that i don't need a screwdriver or coin to make adjustments and the turrets re-set to "zero" quickly and easily.
I will be buying Vortex scopes again!

Contact "Crashman" here on CGN, he is the Vortex scope expert and he can get them for you. I just bought a Vortex Viper 6.5-20 x 50mm mil dot scope from him and it's breathtaking

Cheers
John

thanks everyone, i'm going to check out norris bait and tackle to get a first hand look at these scopes. i've heard nothing but great things about them.

My Viper is serving me well and was a great buy. I purchased from Grouse River Outfitters as well, very good service and fantastic performing glass for the price.
