I'm just curious why anybody would want to spend $250 on a single shot made to look like a pump when you can buy a very real, 18.5 inch barreled pump for the same money? Your going to gain what, 6 or 7 inches in length but your also going to gain 5 or 6 shots. Seems kind of silly to me. Short pump guns are very practical tools to keep in the truck or around camp. Pistol grips are not. I own one and have shot many. They are not pleasant to shoot unless your idea of defense is 7.5 clay loads. Fire a 3 inch slug or buckshot out of one and no matter how tough you are or how easy it looks on tv, it will not be a good time. Wanna aim it? Good bye front teeth. Wanna shoot from the hip like Arnold? Good luck. I tell everyone who's willing to listen thesame thing: You want a defender style shotgun? Fine. Buy a real stock so you can control it, shoot it comfortably so you get the practice you need and don't look back.
