Yea the response was excessively harsh. I can see how someone would see the title, read the first post, and in the excitement ignore the numerous posts after it. The wolves descended because there's some "history" in this thread. Read the whole thing and you'll understand and probably have a chuckle - I did. It's up to the thread's author to change the title as he sees fit and he hasn't - yet.

You need to develop a bit thicker skin here on CGN than some other forums (where you can be banned for saying "poop"), and it's a ritual of passage for the Newbies to get the occasional on-line wedgie. Best to let it go IMO.
