Hey guys I had an idea. I want to get my family motto

"Pro Patria et Libertate" etched in some sort of font on the lower of my AR 15. Anyone else have something sentimental added to their black rifle? I know companies engrave lowers from factory but I'm just wondering if if and how people have done it after fact...

Recommendations in the lower mainland appreciated.

...And loose all your guns for not adhering to your ATT restrictions.

It is a LOWER.
It is the RESTIRCTED GUN.

He can get an STATT to take it to the shop.

Copeland, I know an machinist that could do it for you, if you can't find someone to do it drop me a PM and I'll get in touch with him for you.

You can get a STATT for a business that isn't a gunsmith?

Didn't know that.

Couldn't you just get them to go anywhere then?

Today, I am going bowling....
Tomorrow, maybe the pool...

You can transport your restricteds to a licensed gunspith with your LTATT (see last page of the LTATT)

Depending on province they may or may not allow the STATT for other purposes, they likely would if the reason for transport is modification.

NO, absolutely NOT.

I looked into starting an engraving business solely for firearms. The non-restricted firearms can be done by ANYONE with an engraver. HOWEVER, the CFO, in no uncertain terms, made sure I was fully aware that ANY modification to a RESTRICTED/PROHIBITED receiver MUST be done by a gunsmith licensed for such. As you can guess, his tone of voice inclined that he was none too thrilled about licensing a mid-twenties individual for such business purposes. Remember, the government does NOT want a young individual such as myself handling prohibited firearms, almost equally-so for restricted ones.

Keep in mind, I live in Bantario. YMMV, especially out west!

And again stupid laws foil firearms owners innocent attempts to enjoy their firearms.

I can't even break the gun down and take it to an engraver...I'll follow up with Dlask I guess...
