Glock 17 upgraded trigger spring

I find the olive spring really takes the slack out of the trigger...but also makes the pull heavier.

*I've heard you can take the coil spring off the Olive spring (leaving just the leaf spring) to take the slack out and make the pull lighter than with the coil in. But I have never tried it, so it could just be intarwebz rumours*

A faster reset? Can you shoot faster than 5 rounds per second? If the answer is no, the rest is just fine. Seeing how the trigger mech resets during recoil it doesn't matter how fast the trigger resets, the pistol hasn't finished cycling out the spent casing and loading a fresh one.

Try them both.

I shot a Glock 22 with the NY1 trigger spring in a recent IDPA match with good results. The reset was very positive, but the trigger pull was 7.2# (measured with a digital gauge). This is with a 3.5# connector bar.

I've gone back to the "competition" reset spring and the 3.5# connector. The reset isn't as positive, but the pull weight is closer to 5#.

If you like the DAK/DAO trigger, then the NY1 spring is for you.

Try them both and see what your results are like.

Yeah, but it sounded good in the sales literature.... :p
