Timk emailed me about a chance for some practice and coaching for cqb on saturday october 17th. Is any going to this? Here is TimK's official set of details regarding this practice (Hungry here)

Sat Oct 17, Very Early CQB Practice Info

Location : Amiens Range, CFB Borden
Time : 0715 – 0900, ( a 90 min practice ), gate will be open at 0700.
Fee : None

A very early morning practice is aval. We must be off the range by 0900 for the 300 yd shooters.
Bring carbine, pistol, ammo and required kit.

Practice will cover :
-zeroing
-mag change drills
-transition drills
-IAs and stoppages
-any other practice you need

Note ;
Practice time is very short. Please be prompt with timings.
You may shoot at 300 yd for the rest of the day, for non members a $ 40 guest fee will apply.
Priority is to those attending the Oct 24 match, limited openings.
Spectators welcome.

On a side note if anyone is going and has a pistol i could use for the day it would be greatly appreciated. Being 17 i cant own one (yet) so i dont get much trigger time. So once again if you have one you wouldnt mind letting me use please pm.

Edit: the amiens range according to the email, which i would hazard to guess is at CFB borden like the last one was.

Is it open to all? What time it starts? Equipment required?

hey dudley whens your birthday? i feel were in the same boat, im only 17 but my bday is oct 15 cant wait man im goin to write the restricted part asap. to bad i live 5 hours away and i dont have my own car:mad: or i would come, o and i dont have a gun lol. have fun anyways:)

december 21 :mad: i already passed the RRAL,

Last time my mom came out she had fun she just wants a chair next time :p they dont mind this kind of stuff. Well she did have a hate on for handguns but shes changing her mind after the last shoot.
 
I've my Restricted License but come from a non gun family so I don't have any firearms yet since I still live at home and it's against my mothers wishes which sucks.
 
nice job, as weird as it is i go with a teacher from school. my dad and my 2 other brothers and even my one brothers gf has come along but never my mom. but soon enough i will make her go lol and as much as shell denie it i know shell have fun. she had fun shooting the .22 in the backyard, but shes never held a pistol before so that will be a little tricky..

how did you write the restricted part, i was told that i MUST be 18 or older to be able to write and take the course, i have my minors pal and once i take the R part ill send that away and get both at the same time but i didnt know that i could do the R as well...:mad: damn now ive wasted time.

my 14 year old neighbour wrote it too, i even got it stamped from orillia, i just cant send them in to the CFC/ RCMP yet. My mom doesnt shoot with me though just wanted to be there to support me onmy first time out. And might start paying for some ammo since they pay for my brothers hockey :D
 
luck you im a poor bastard i have to pay for my own ammo. that blows when you cat find a job. now if i could find a job(not that im lazy or unmotivated) it would be a diff story then i would have my own car and money for ammo and tests. now i have to wait till i have enough cash to write the test and take the course and all that jazz.

i worked two jobs this weel for 47 hours a week to pay for this lol i would have more to show if it wasnt for damn girl friends :D. I told me last one sorry its between you and the gun and the gun wins, that was my reason for not visiting her one weekend :p
